Job summary

Healthforce is actively recruiting a Registered Nurse for the EP Lab in Burlington, Vermont for a 13-week travel assignment. Start date is 09/21/2026 with a 5x8 shift pattern, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and weekly pay ranging from $3,103 to $3,255.

The role focuses on cardiac device management in an outpatient clinic within a hospital-based EP lab. The RN will provide care for adults with implanted rhythm devices, perform device interrogation and programming, monitor status

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• EPIC EMR experience within the last 2 years.
• Experience with outpatient cardiac device management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for adult patients with implanted cardiac rhythm management devices in an outpatient EP clinic.
• Independently manage implanted CRM devices (pacemakers, ICDs, implanted loop recorders) including device interrogation, programming, troubleshooting, and data documentation.
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after device-related procedures; maintain sterile technique and patient safety.
• Document device data and clinical notes accurately in the EMR; communicate findings with the cardiology team.
• Collaborate with device technicians and the broader care team to coordinate follow-up care and patient education.
• Educate patients on device function, follow-up care, activity restrictions, and discharge instructions; provide clear guidance for home management.
