Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position. This travel-friendly role requires a TN or compact RN license, current BLS/ACLS/PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications, with a minimum of two years of experience including travel nursing.

The position features a 12-hour night shift (7p-7a), 36 hours per week, and a 270-bed hospital with a 44-bed ED. Cerner EMR experience is preferred; local candidates may be offered a lower rate and travel pay eligibility

Qualifications

• Active TN or Multistate/Compact RN license on file at time of consideration
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience; prior travel nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Hospital setting with a 270-bed facility and a 44-bed Emergency Dept unit
• Patient ratios of 1:4-5
• Treats all ages within the general population
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 7p-7a, 36 hours per week
• No block schedule; must be flexible to meet staffing needs
• Weekend and holiday work required
• Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
• Must be available to work 2 of 3 assigned holidays
• Orientation scheduled for 11/30, 12/7, and 12/14
• Navy scrubs required
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
• Radius rule of 75 miles applies for travel pay eligibility
