Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse for a night shift contract in Texas. The role requires a TX or Compact RN license and at least 2 years of critical care experience.

Certifications include BLS, PALS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS, and TNCC. The assignment runs 13 weeks with a 4x12 hour night schedule and travel housing support.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required.
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS, and TNCC required prior to start.
• Minimum of 2 years ER experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department setting within a hospital.
• Critical care patient population.
• ER patient ratio of 4:1.
• Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours (19:00-7:00).
• 13-week contract assignment.
• Weekend rotation required.
• Uses Cerner charting system.
• No block scheduling available.
• Provide critical care nursing in a fast-paced emergency department.
