Job summary

American Traveler in Dallas is seeking a Night Shift RN for an Emergency Department role at a Level I trauma and teaching facility. This position requires TNCC, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS, and BLS certifications and an active TX or Compact RN license.

The night schedule features 12-hour shifts from 7p–7a with weekend/holiday coverage as needed. CPI training is provided onsite, and the facility offers comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k), housing allowance, travel and licensure

Qualifications

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required.
• Required certifications upon start: TNCC, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and BLS.
• CPI certification required within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• ED setting with 38 beds.
• Handles approximately 200 patients per day across all ages and diagnoses.
• Level I trauma and teaching facility.
• 4:1 patient ratio.
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7p-7a.
• Weekends and holidays required as needed.
• CPI training provided and paid for onsite by the facility.
• Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction for nursing positions.
