Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Night Shift RN for an Emergency Department role in Oklahoma. Requires 2+ years ER experience and an Oklahoma or Compact RN license, with BLS and ACLS. EPIC EMR is used. This 13-week assignment features 3x12 nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with no on-call requirements and floating as needed.

Local candidates within 50 miles receive a reduced bill rate; travel stipends and lodging allowances are included to support assignment success and coverage needs.

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• PALS and TNCC certifications preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience.
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess emergency patients and plan, organize, and implement individualized care in a warm, personalized environment.
• May supervise ER techs, orderlies, and ancillary personnel as needed.
• Required to wear black scrubs.

• Emergency Department setting within a full-service tertiary hospital
• 3x12 night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment

Additional Information

• Assess emergency patients and plan, organize, and implement individualized care in a warm, personalized environment
• May supervise ER techs, orderlies, and ancillary personnel as needed
• Required to wear black scrubs
• Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed, must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a reduced bill rate
• Candidates living within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the radius

The $1,966 weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, corresponds to the higher end of this range. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
