Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc. is seeking a traveling RN for CVICU in Fort Worth, TX. The unit features 16 beds with 2:1 patient-to-RN ratios on nights and a Meditech EMR environment. You will cover RN shifts across the CVICU, delivering advanced critical care and bedside support.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of CCU experience, ventilator management, central line and chest tube skills, and an active RN license. This travel assignment offers exposure to a dynamic cardiovascular program.

Qualifications

• 2 years of critical care experience (adult ICU/CVICU or similar).
• Ventilator experience and management of Art/Central lines and chest tubes.

Responsibilities

• Hemodynamic monitoring and Swan Ganz utilization.
• Manage cardiac lines and chest tubes as part of CVICU care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.

Number of Staff 45

• Type of staff: All RN
  • Day Shift 1 CNC and 2:1 nurse to patient ratio
  • Night Shift - 1 CNC and 2:1 nurse to patient ratio
• Patient Ratios 2:1; ( 2 patients : 1 RN)
• Type of equipment Client monitors, EV 1000, Hemispheres, CRRT (NextStage), Implella, Swan Ganz, Art lines, Chest tubes, vents
• EMR - Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for:

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• 2 years of critical care experience. (adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU any Critical Care specialty)
• Ventilator experience, Art/Central line/Chest tube management skills

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• CVICU specific, CABG recovery, CRRT, Impella
• Meditech experience
• BSN, CCRN
