Job summary

The registered nurse (RN) in the Internal Travel Team at Mayo Clinic will rotate across Mayo Clinic sites in Arizona, Florida, Minnesota and Wisconsin as determined by patient care needs.

The RN is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. The RN will travel on a routine basis to various locations. Flexibility and adaptability are essential in work assignments and work schedules.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN license.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in PCU/ICU settings.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, weekends and travel between Mayo Clinic sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care across patient care units.
• Provide direct patient care, education and transitions of care.
• Travel between Mayo Clinic sites as needed.
