Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Internal Travel Team who will rotate across Mayo Clinic sites in Arizona, Florida, Minnesota and Wisconsin as patient care needs dictate.

The role requires FCCN/ACLS training; PCCN may substitute FCCN. RNs will be assigned to PCU or Med/Surg units, with flexible hours, travel, and contingency staffing responsibilities across Mayo Clinic sites.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate nursing program; if not ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA accredited, at least one year RN experience in an applicable care setting.
• Minimum of one year RN experience in a PCU (ICU step-down) or ICU setting.
• External traveler or float pool experience preferred; cross-site experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care, patient education and transitions of care across practice settings.
• Travel across Mayo Clinic sites as needed to support patient care needs.
• Provide contingency staffing and support across Mayo Clinic nursing sites.
• Demonstrate leadership, communication, and teamwork; participate in committees or projects.
