Job summary

AvaMed Workforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time, 3-month assignment at a correctional facility in Coalinga, CA. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm with orientation for 2 weeks. Rate: $78/hr; Status: Traveler/W2; 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer nursing care including medications and treatments per physician orders; obtain specimens as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team; assist physicians with procedures and maintain records.
• Provide patient assessments and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
• Document all nursing activities in records and evaluations.
• Ensure a safe therapeutic environment and supervise patient conduct.
