Job summary

Trinity Health's FirstChoice mobile staffing program seeks experienced Registered Nurses for flexible, premium-pay assignments across the system. RNs float across hospital locations and regions, delivering patient care within licensed scope and coordinating with stakeholders to improve outcomes.

This role emphasizes adaptability, ongoing credential maintenance, and the ability to work across Med Surg, Tele, PCU, and other specialties with regional and national travel options.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice.
• ACLS, TNCC, and PALS credentials as required per specialty; BLS/ACLS/PALS through American Heart Association.
• Minimum 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU; minimum 2 years for other specialties.

Responsibilities

• Float across hospital locations and regions as needed.
• Provide patient assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in practice area.
• Act independently within licensed scope and collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality.
• Maintain accountability for delegation, decisions and outcomes.
• Adapt to new ideas and manage competing priorities in diverse settings.
• Participate in ongoing learning and credential upkeep.
