Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiac Catheterization unit of a hospital setting.
• Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatric patients.
• Shift is 07:00–17:00.
• On-call required, about 8–10 shifts per month.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Address psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care in the surgical environment.
• Communicate with physicians about patient condition.
• Assist with equipment and inventory; ensure room readiness.
• Obtain supplies for cases and meet lab needs.
• Monitor physiologic/hemodynamic data during procedures.
• Record patient condition continuously in the lab.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
• Local candidates may be considered on par with travel candidates.

• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required
• ACLS certification required upon start and must be maintained
• Minimum 4 years of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab performing cardiac work or in Critical Care required
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiac Catheterization unit of a hospital setting
• Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations
• Shift schedule is 07:00-17:00
• On-call required, approximately 8-10 call shifts per month
• 13-week assignment length
• Addresses psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment
• Communicates continuously with physicians regarding patient condition
• Assists with equipment and inventory maintenance, and assesses procedure room readiness
• Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures Cardiovascular Lab team needs are met
• Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures
• Continuously monitors and records patient condition while in the Cardiovascular Lab
• Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
