American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Travel RN Case Manager for a Level II Trauma Center in Florida. Requires active FL or Compact RN licensure and at least 1 year of hospital case management experience.

The role supports case management and utilization review in a 290-bed facility. The position features a 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM day shift, five days per week, with rotating weekends/holidays and travel housing allowances.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in FL or Compact
• Minimum 1 year of hospital and/or case management experience
• Experience with hospital case management systems preferred (Midas, Interqual, Meditech)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Florida requires two professional references

Responsibilities

• Case Management/Utilization Review in a 290-bed main hospital building
• Day shift 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, five 8-hour days per week
• Patient ratios: 1:25 on floors, 1:20 in urgent care units
• Social Worker ratios: 1:30 ICU, 1:40 floors
• Use iPad, computer, and Careport platform for daily tasks
• Reviews in Meditech, documentation in Midas, referrals via Careport
• Work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
• Perform patient assessments, discharge planning with patients and families
• Lead multidisciplinary rounds as needed
• Energetic, independent communicator with strong critical thinking
• Navy blue scrubs required for RN staff
• Facility is a Level II Trauma Center
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius of the facility
• First-time travelers may be considered if minimum experience met
