Qualifications

• Must demonstrate support for the core values and goals of the Agency.
• Exposure to elements including odors, blood, body fluids, and hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Administer skilled nursing care to patients in their residence according to physician orders.
• Participate in patient, caregiver, and family counseling and education.
• Supervise care of Licensed Practical Nurse and Home Health Aide.

Skills

Currently licensed in the state(s) in which practicing

Two (2) years experience, hospice or home health preferred

CPR certified with American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment

Strong communication skills, both oral and in writing, with excellent interpersonal skills

Good customer relations skills and commitment to providing quality service

Current valid drivers license and auto liability insurance

On call availability at least once per month

100% travel may be required

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing
