Job summary

MedCadre in Downey, CA is seeking a Case Manager for the day shift (Mon-Fri, 8:30–17:00) on a 13-week contract. The role focuses on case management, care coordination, discharge planning, and disease management within acute hospital settings. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience and may include weekend and holiday coverage.

Familiarity with CMS, HIPAA and OSHA, as well as Joint Commission standards, is essential. Scrubs are not required; business casual attire is requested.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of case management experience in Acute Hospital settings.
• Experience with MS SDU/PCU/IMC/Obs Surgical Services and care coordination is preferred.
• Familiarity with CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services), HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission/ Core Measure/National Safety Goals is desirable.
