Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital. Active OR RN license and prior IRF or Med-Surg experience are required.

The role involves case management and utilization review within a 42-bed unit, using Epic and Pyxis, with day shifts and a strict weekend rotation. Travel and licensure reimbursements are offered.

Qualifications

• Active OR RN license required on hand.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1+ years of RN experience required.
• New graduates will not be considered.
• Prior IRF and Med-Surg experience required.
• Epic EHR experience required.
• LTC experience not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 42 beds.
• Unit treats adults, including geriatric patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injuries, amputation and orthopedic injuries.
• Patient ratios of 5:1 RN/LPN and 7:1 CNA.
• Uses Epic and Pyxis systems.
• Day shift 8:00 AM–5:30 PM.
• Every other weekend rotation required.
• No on-call and no floating requirements.
• Perform case management and utilization review duties within an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable.
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible.

• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
• Local candidates are not eligible for this position
