This assignment requires 1+ year of OR/CVOR experience, PA RN license, BLS, ACLS preferred, and professional references.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of RN experience in OR/CV setting
• Valid RN license as required by the state
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification
• ACLS certification (preferred or may be required)
• Specialty-related certifications are preferred
• Professional references

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors and surgeons in the operating room and monitor vital signs during surgery.
• Coordinate surgical care and liaise between the surgical team and patients' families.
• Assess patients before surgery and maintain a sterile operating room; may require weekend/on-call shifts in trauma centers.
