Sentara Heart Hospital, on the Sentara Norfolk General campus in Norfolk, VA, is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Procedural & Surgical IMCU. This 14-week assignment offers a $70.00/hr pay rate and a night shift schedule on a temporary full-time basis.

The unit cares for pre and post cardiac surgery patients, with a focus on high-quality outcomes, staffing flexibility, and opportunities for professional growth within Sentara's cardiac program.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of acute care RN experience.
• Virginia or Compact multi-state license in good standing.
• Active BLS and ACLS; NIH Stroke Scale.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for pre/post cardiac surgery patients in IMCU.
• Manage 3-4 patients per RN depending on acuity.
• Participate in training and development opportunities.
