Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Illinois. Requires 2 years cath lab experience and an active IL RN license.

You will work in a Level 1 Trauma Center with Magnet designation, performing diagnostic and interventional cath and EP cases, with an average caseload of 5–15 per day and an on-call rotation. Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• Skilled in moderate sedation using Versed/Fentanyl and critical drip management.
• Experience monitoring and circulating cath lab cases required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Middle name or initial, date of birth, and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration.
• At least 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a Level 1 Trauma Center and teaching hospital with Magnet designation.
• 3 Cath Labs performing procedure labs, Cath and EP cases.
• Case types include diagnostic/interventional cath, LHC/RCH, NSTEMI and STEMI, Impella, IABPs, Rotoblator, CTOs/staged PCI, shockwave, temp pacers, peripheral diagnostic/intervention, and loop recorders.
• EP cases include Micra, pacemaker, AICDs, lead extractions/revisions, and generator changes.
• Average daily caseload of 5-15 cases.
• On-call required, including weekend rotation and 4-5 additional weekday overnight call shifts per 4-week schedule.
• Uses Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, Philips hemodynamics system, Merge PACS, and Philips c-arm equipment.
