Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Travel RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab in Houston, TX. This contract role offers a 40-hour week, 13 weeks, with day shift 07:00–17:30 and start 10/12/2026. ACLS and BLS are required; MRT license per Texas rules may be necessary for radiological work.

The ideal candidate will perform cardiovascular, IR and vascular procedures, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, monitor vitals, and maintain safety standards in a hospital setting while on assignment.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required.
• In the state of Texas Cardiac Cath Lab techs working with radiological equipment must have MRT license.
• RN - Critical Care and Trauma certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Cath Lab, performing cardiovascular, IR, and vascular procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety during procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and manage critically ill patients as needed.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies and safety guidelines.
• Assist in the preparation and operation of radiological equipment.
