Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a 13-week assignment in Fort Worth, TX. You will participate in pre/procedure care, assist during interventions, and monitor recovery while collaborating with cardiology teams.
The position requires 1 year Cath Lab RN experience, current RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications; PALS, ENPC, or RCIS are preferred. Travel pay, benefits, and dedicated clinical support are included.
Qualifications
- One year in Cath Lab RN or equivalent
- RN license in good standing per state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
Responsibilities
- Assess patients pre-procedure and review history
- Position patients and place EKG leads correctly
- Assist in catheter/balloon/stent interventions
- Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment
- Assist with arterial/venous sheaths and patient transport
- Monitor vitals and ECG during procedures
- Support post-procedure recovery and smooth care transitions
- Maintain cath lab equipment and stock levels
- Communicate effectively with team, patients, and physicians
- Adhere to safety, infection control and regulatory standards
- Perform other duties within scope as needed
