Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Kerrville, TX. The RN will perform specialized care for cardiac catheterization patients, prepare patients for procedures, and assist during interventions with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.
The role requires 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience, active RN licensure, and current BLS and ACLS certifications. PALS/ENPC and RCIS are preferred.
Qualifications
- One year’s recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
Responsibilities
- Assess patients prior to procedures, review medical history and perform exams
- Assist in positioning and ensure proper EKG leads placement
- Assist physicians during procedures and with catheter placements
- Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment and recognize rhythm changes
- Support post-procedure care and patient recovery transitions
- Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment and ensure stock for procedures
- Communicate effectively with team, patients, families, and physicians
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
