Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position at a Level 1 facility. The role requires 2 recent years of Cath Lab experience and ARRT certification.

This travel assignment offers day shifts (10-hour shifts, 4 days per week), competitive pay with bonuses, and housing assistance. Candidates must hold an Oklahoma RN license (or eNLC), BLS/ACLS, NIHSS, ARRT, and prior travel nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in OK or multistate compact (eNLC)
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification
• Minimum of 2 recent years of Cath Lab experience
• ARRT certification
• Stepdown/PCU experience
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Strong knowledge of professional nursing theories, practices, and techniques
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform Level 1 Cardiac Cath Lab procedures (STEMI, Shock, VAD, ECMO, structural heart)
• Operate Phillips imaging equipment; Siemens equipment being added
• Document in Epic with hemodynamic monitoring in Xper
• Day shift schedule; 10-hour shifts; 4 days per week; 40 hours weekly
• Provide direct nursing care to cardiac patients ranging from routine to complex
• Assist physicians with diagnostic procedures in the Cath Lab
• Administer medications and manage IV infusions and blood products
• Collaborate with patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
• Delegate tasks to support staff and ensure compliance with timelines and onboarding

• Collaborates with patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
• Delegates tasks appropriately to support staff
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• Returning travelers may extend a contract once for up to 26 weeks total, after which a 6-month separation is required before reapplying
• Facility enforces strict compliance deadlines, requiring documentation and onboarding to begin immediately upon offer
