Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an RN - Acute Dialysis nurse for an outpatient dialysis unit in Vermont. An active VT or compact RN license and EPIC EMR experience are required, with 36 hours per week and shifts from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Local candidates are accepted, and Saturdays are required; travel and floating between St. Albans and Berlin are possible. The role offers tiered pay by mileage (Local, Radius, Travel) and housing support along with benefits including insurance, 401(k), and

Qualifications

• Active VT or compact RN license required.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient dialysis experience required.
• EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years required.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient dialysis unit (CRU) caring for chronic renal (ESRD) patients.
• Schedule includes 8/9/10/12 hour shifts as needed with flexibility required.
• Hours scheduled Monday through Sunday with no block schedules.
• Floating required to St. Albans and Berlin locations.
• No on-call responsibilities, but Saturday shifts are required.
• 36 hours per week with shift hours from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
• Bi-weekly orientations held on Mondays.
• Reliable personal or rental transportation strongly recommended due to lack of public transit access.
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April.
• Local candidates accepted.
• Position offers tiered pay rates based on direct-line mileage: Local (50 miles or less), Radius (51-100 miles), Travel (101+ miles).
