Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an RN for an Outpatient Acute Dialysis role in North Dakota. Requires recent dialysis nursing experience and an active ND or compact RN license. BLS certification is required; CNN/CDN certification is welcomed but not required. EPIC experience is preferred and should be noted on your resume.

The position involves 12-hour day shifts (0500-1730), three days per week, in an outpatient dialysis unit with 32 stations. Local travel rates apply for certain distances.

Qualifications

• Active ND or compact RN license required.
• Active BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Minimum 2.5-3 years of recent dialysis nursing experience required.
• Outpatient dialysis clinic experience required.
• CNN or CDN certification highly desired but not required.
• EPIC experience preferred; note specific experience on resume.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient dialysis clinic setting within a 32-station dialysis unit.
• Post-acute care setting serving chronic dialysis patients.
• Maintains HD care of 4 patients with support from float/charge nurse.
• Uses B Braun dialysis machines.
• Charting completed in EPIC.
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week (0500-1730).
• Works every other Saturday; facility closed Sundays.
• Floating generally not required but may be available if desired.
• Perform pre/intra/post dialysis patient assessments.
• Administer dialysis treatments and complete interdisciplinary assessments and care plans.
• Unit-specific orientation covering workflow, water system, equipment, policies, meds.
