Job summary

Quik Travel Staffing seeks an Acute Dialysis RN to provide dialysis treatments in hospital settings across our partner facilities. You will assess patient responses, administer therapies, and collaborate with physicians to optimize care.

Requirements include an active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1+ year dialysis experience. Travel, stipends, and comprehensive benefits are provided by our team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
• Current state RN license in good standing (or compact state license).
• BLS certification required (Chronic and Acute settings).
• ACLS certification required (Acute setting only).

Responsibilities

• Provide dialysis treatments to acutely ill patients in an acute or hospital setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient response before, during, and after treatment.
• Administer prescribed medications and fluid therapy.
• Operate, maintain, and disinfect dialysis equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital staff to develop treatment plans.
• Respond to emergencies and manage complications during dialysis.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and hospital safety protocols.
• Educate patients and families on dialysis care and treatment expectations.
• Support and train hospital staff on dialysis procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
