Job summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) travel position with Sanford Broadway Med Ctr in Fargo, ND provides patient-centered care across rotating shifts, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Collaborates with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Contracts are 14 weeks with the option to extend or transfer to another Sanford site. Weekly pay is provided with benefits; Sanford offers comprehensive health, dental, and retirement benefits,
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA standards.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the state board where practice occurs; multistate licensure may apply in an NLC state.
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized nursing care using the full nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
- Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional teams to plan and evaluate care.
- Coordinate patient care, assess, educate, triage, and perform nursing interventions as appropriate.
- Practice within the scope of nursing and adhere to licensure rules and codes of ethics.
