Job summary

Legacy Healthcare is hiring Travel Registered Nurses for our internal travel team across Iowa. Choose when you work and how far you travel, with shifts near home or across the state.

Pick up available shifts near home, explore facilities across Iowa, or do a combination of both. As a Travel RN, you will provide direct resident care, administer medications, supervise CNAs, and collaborate with physicians and facility leadership.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Iowa RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different facility environments.
• Long-term care, skilled nursing, or Charge Nurse experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Administering medications and treatments.
• Monitoring and documenting changes in resident condition.
• Supervising CNAs, CMAs/QMAs, and other nursing staff.
• Communicating with physicians, families, and facility leadership.
• Supporting admissions, transfers, wound care, and emergency response.
• Ensuring care is delivered safely and according to resident care plans.

What You’ll Do
