Goldwater Care is seeking a licensed Respiratory Therapist to provide direct respiratory care to residents across our facilities in Illinois with travel among locations to ensure the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating residents, managing ventilator-dependent patients, and delivering education and safe equipment use. CPR is required and LTC experience is preferred.

Competenze

• Respiratory Therapist with current unencumbered state licensure.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.

Mansioni

• Evaluate, treat, and care for residents with respiratory problems including ventilators or tracheostomies, with administration of bland aerosols and suctioning.
• Evaluate resident care and outcomes related to respiratory care; analyze and adjust plan of care.
• Provide routine care of ventilator-dependent residents; manage ventilator settings, maintenance, and weaning; monitor equipment.
