Job summary

Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates seeks an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a travel assignment at a critical access hospital in Vermont. The role requires independent work, management of Ventilators, PAP modalities, ABG draws, and PFTs across pediatric to geriatric patients.

Requirements include NBRC RRT certification, Vermont RRT license, AHA BLS, and Cerner EMR experience. Travel experience and a personal vehicle are highly preferred; home sleep testing and pulmonary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current Registered Respiratory Therapy experience.
• Active NBRC RRT certification.
• Active Vermont RRT license.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
• Cerner EMR experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage ventilators, PAP modalities, high-flow oxygen, and PFTs.
• Willingness to learn home sleep testing and pulmonary rehabilitation.
• At least 6 months of travel experience highly preferred.
• Must have a personal vehicle for the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment of respiratory illnesses.
• Independently manage invasive and non-invasive ventilation, PAP modalities, and high-flow oxygen.
• Perform ABG draws and assist with airway management including intubations.
• Perform pulmonary function tests (PFTs).
• Adapt to varying clinical situations and solve problems independently.
• Be willing to learn home sleep testing and pulmonary rehabilitation.
