Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift at a Level II Trauma Center in Washington state. RRT license in hand and 1–2 years of experience required; BLS mandatory with ACLS/PALS preferred.

The role includes trauma/rapid response support, ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and occasional floating to sister facilities. Epic EMR familiarity preferred; travelers only; 3 of 5 major holidays required.

Qualifications

• Current RRT certification.
• Washington state RRT license in hand at submission.
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience.
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred.
• Ventilator management experience including BiPAP, CPAP, weaning and high pressure alarms troubleshooting.
• Airway management experience including intubation/extubation, suctioning, and tracheostomy care.
• Medication delivery systems and nebulizers experience.
• ABG interpretation experience.
• ED and Pediatric settings experience preferred.
• Epic charting experience preferred.
• First-time travelers not accepted for this position.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Night shift, 3x12‑hour shifts from 19:00–07:00.
• Patient ratio of 1:11.
• Floating between units and between sister facilities within the state as needed.
• Epic EMR used.
• Special duties include ER coverage and rapid response.
• Provide respiratory care including trauma response and rapid response support.
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays.
