Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment at a Charlotte, NC facility. You will provide advanced respiratory care, assess and manage patients with complex pulmonary conditions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver life‑saving therapies.

The role requires one year of RRT experience, NBRC RRT credential, current state license, and BLS certification. Preferred candidates may have ACLS/PALS and other credentials.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• RRT credential from NBRC is required.
• Valid respiratory therapy license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans.
• Assess patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as lung capacity measurements.
• Deliver therapies including chest physiotherapy and aerosols.
• Monitor oxygen delivery and adjust as needed.
• Record patient status and progress.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team for patient care.
• Educate patients and families on medications and equipment.
• Perform other duties within RRT scope.
