Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Charleston, SC. As a member of our team, you'll provide advanced respiratory care to patients across diverse clinical settings and contribute to positive patient outcomes while enjoying competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate is a Registered Respiratory Therapist with NBRC RRT credential, active state license, and current BLS certification. ACLS/PALS are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• NBRC RRT credential required.
• Valid respiratory therapy license in SC.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans.
• Examine and interview patients with respiratory or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as measuring lung capacity and collecting samples.
• Administer therapies including chest physiotherapy and aerosols.
• Set up and monitor oxygen delivery and rate.
• Record patient status and progress.
• Educate patients and families on equipment use and medications.
• Perform other duties within the RRT scope.
