American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Hartsville, Tennessee. This night shift position requires CRT/RRT certification and 2+ years of experience, with the RT serving as the sole therapist on shift in an acute care ED/Med Surg unit.

Night schedule is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week, with 3x12 hour shifts and rotating weekends. The assignment uses bedside ventilator therapies and requires BLS/ACLS/PALS, Tennessee license, and ABG endorsement.

Qualifications

• CRT/RRT certification required and Tennessee Board license.
• ABG endorsement required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Prior travel assignment preferred.
• Must be able to work independently as the sole RT on shift.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Work as the sole Respiratory Therapist on shift in a 11-bed acute care unit.
• Manage patient care for ED/Med Surg populations during 12-hour night shifts.
• Operate transport ventilator, BiPAP, and related respiratory equipment.
• Document appropriately in the EHR (Meditech/Medhost).
• Rotate weekends as scheduled and maintain optimal patient care.
