TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Sharon, CT. The role requires 1 year of acute care experience, BLS; ACLS may be required; PALS/NRP may be needed depending on location.

The RT will deliver direct patient care, operate respiratory equipment, document care, and collaborate with the care team. 12-hour daytime shifts and travel engagement are offered.

Competenze

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist with active credentials.
• BLS certification required; ACLS often required; PALS and NRP may be required depending on area.
• 1 year of acute care experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide direct patient care as a Respiratory Therapist across clinical areas.
• Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities; document treatments.
• Maintain, clean, calibrate, and inspect respiratory equipment; report malfunctions.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples per guidelines.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and staff to optimize patient care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
