Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Respiratory Therapist for Tulsa, OK. The RT will provide direct patient care across multiple units, handle equipment setup and documentation, and participate in urgent respiratory interventions. A 13-week assignment with 36 hours/week, dayshift, 12-hour blocks.

Requirements include 1 year of acute care experience and BLS/ACLS, with PALS/NRP possibly required in some locations. Travel compensation and tax-free stipends apply as per assignment terms.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• Must have BLS, ACLS. PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across a variety of clinical areas per guidelines.
• Maintain accurate patient records/documentation.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot respiratory and cardiology equipment.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedures.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and staff to optimize patient care continuum.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
