Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Great Barrington, MA. The RT will work 12-hour shifts (rotating) at 36 hours per week and provide direct patient care across clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to protocols.

Required is 1 year of acute care experience, BLS; ACLS (PALS/NRP may be required in some areas). The role involves equipment setup, documentation, and collaboration with care teams. Travel benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent acute care experience required.
• Must have BLS; ACLS. PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in various clinical areas per guidelines.
• Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities.
• Maintain patient records/documentation.
• Assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory equipment; report malfunctions.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyses as directed.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and staff to optimize care.
