Job summary

MercyOne Medical Group in Davenport is seeking experienced Respiratory Therapists for FirstChoice mobile staffing across the Trinity Health system. These assignments offer premium pay, flexible scheduling, and travel opportunities with per diem options.

You’ll float between hospital locations and work nights on a 3x12 schedule. Eligibility includes 2 years of RT experience, a two-year RT program, and current RRT credentials with state licensing as required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Graduate of a two-year advanced practitioner RT program; registry eligible.
• Current RRT credential and active state license if required.
• Strong communication with patients, physicians and staff; computer literacy.

What you will do:

• Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations and/or regions

• Knows, understands, incorporates & demonstrates standard elements of professional practice per AARC guidelines.

• Acts independently & appropriately within, scope of knowledge & experience in practice area

• Retains accountability for delegation, choices, decisions & outcomes

• Collaborates with key stakeholders & contributes to quality & improvement practices & outcomes

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist

• Graduate of a two-year advanced practitioner -Accredited Respiratory Therapist program: Registry eligible.

• Current RRTcredential.

• Valid State License in Respiratory Care ifrequiredin thestateyou areworking.

• Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with patients, physicians and other health personnel and department management during all situations and in line with our mission and values.

• Analytical skillsnecessarytoidentifypatient’sneeds.

• Demonstrated basic computer skills in a Windows environment.

Pay Range: $32.22-$35.00 per hour + Tax Free Allowance if Qualified or $60 per hour for local
Actual compensation offered will be within the range stated above but vary based on factors including experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, and certification requirements, as well as comparisons to current colleagues in similar roles.
