Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift hospital assignment in the White Mountains region of New Hampshire. The role requires at least 2 years of RRT experience, active NBRC credentials, and AHA BLS/ACLS/PALS certification, with travel experience preferred and own vehicle required.

The position runs 12-hour nights, 36 hours weekly, with every-other-weekend coverage and no on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Active RRT certification required; CRTs not considered.
• Minimum 2 years of current RRT experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS through AHA required.
• NRP certification highly preferred.
• NBRC certification required.
• NH state license required if applicable.
• Previous travel experience highly preferred.
• Must have own vehicle for assignment.
• Residence more than 50 miles from facility.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based respiratory therapy department.
• Night shift 12-hour schedule, 6:00 PM–6:30 AM, 36 hours/week.
• Works every other weekend with holiday coverage.
• No on-call requirements.
• Operate ventilators (Draeger, Hamilton T1).
• Utilize HFNC devices (F&P Classic, Airvo 3).
• Use Philips V60 BPAP/CPAP devices.
• Basic knowledge of ResMed AirSense/AirCurve home units preferred.
• Located on hospital campus in the White Mountains, NH.
• Must work two holiday blocks if scheduled.
• Scheduling requests must be submitted and verified prior to offer.

• Scheduling requests and requested time off must be submitted and verified prior to offer, as post-offer requests will not be approved
• No more than 3 days of requested time off will be accepted during the assignment
