Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Oklahoma. The role requires NICU/neonatal stabilization experience and RRT credentials, with 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week.

ACLS/BLS/PALS/NRP certifications are required, and an active license is necessary with no pending licenses. A generous housing allowance and travel reimbursements are provided to support travel assignments.

Qualifications

• RRT credentials required.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required (AHA only).
• ABG license required if applicable.
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a US hospital within the specialty area.
• NICU or neonatal stabilization experience required.
• Active license required, no pending licenses accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory care to neonatal patients requiring stabilization and ventilation support prior to transport.
• 12-hour shifts with every other weekend.
• 36 hours per week total.
• Diagnoses evaluation, management, education, rehabilitation, and care of patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies.
• Administers treatments including medical gas therapy, mechanical ventilation, artificial airway care, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and hemodynamic support.
• Candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted.
