Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital contract in Baltimore, MD. The role focuses on delivering respiratory care in critical care and emergency settings with 12-hour night shifts.

Requirements include active Maryland RCP licensure, 3 years of experience, ACLS/BLS, and airway management skills. The contract runs ~13 weeks with a 36-hour workweek and a 19:00–07:30 schedule.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure.
• 3 years of Respiratory Therapy experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department respiratory experience.
• Airway management including extubation, intubation assistance, suctioning, and tracheostomy care.
• Bronchoscopy support and sputum specimen collection.
• Ventilator management including BiPAP/CPAP and weaning.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy support to adult and geriatric patients in critical care and ED.
• Assist with airway management procedures including intubation and extubation.
• Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and oxygen delivery systems.
• Support rapid response teams and hospital-wide respiratory needs.
• Document patient care using Cerner charting system.
