Travel Respiratory Therapist - Registered RT/RRT

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 1 year of experience for a night shift travel assignment at a hospital in Butte, MT.

Responsibilities

• Perform, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic testing procedures, including obtaining arterial blood gases, per protocol.
• Initiate and manage respiratory protocols, equipment operation, and patient interventions based on clinical assessments.
• Administer medications safely and evaluate patient response, communicating updates to physicians, nurses, and other departments.
• Provide patient and family education on self‑care techniques and health promotion.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and departmental meetings.
• Act as a resource, consultant, and mentor to CRT staff and other care team members.
• May be assigned to special clinical projects or initiatives as designated by department leadership.
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible for a travel assignment.
