Opportunity:

Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapy

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with a guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 12-hour variable shifts
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Can be placed on low census call with a minimum 2-hour callback requirement
• Float requirements include Tomahawk, Howard Young, and Eagle River locations, with floating able to be prescheduled as needed
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius
• Support all patient care areas including the emergency department and general care areas
• Provide emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue situations
• Perform basic respiratory care, critical care, and ventilator management
• Conduct patient assessments using Assess and Treat Protocols
• Care for patients of all age groups
• Charting experience with EPIC required
• Equipment used includes Bipap V60, Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, LTV1200 transport ventilators, Airvo2 (Heated High Flow), Optiflow, and Resmed S10 auto CPAPs
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS, NBRC CRT or RRT, WI License; NRP preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Strong documentation skills required
• Scrub color: Any
