Description

American Traveler is seeking a NICU Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Level III or higher NICU experience for a night shift travel assignment.

Details

• Respiratory Therapy unit within a 430-bed hospital
• NICU patient population requiring Level III or higher experience
• Normal floor assignment of 20-25 treatments per round
• Uses oxygen, BIPAP/CPAP, ventilators, nebulizers, and blood gas machines
• Performs nebulizer treatments, BIPAP/CPAP, ventilator management, and arterial blood gases
• Meditech EMR
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekend requirement
• On-call expectation of approximately one 24-hour shift every 5-6 weeks
• 13-week assignment
