Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a day shift position in the New Orleans area. The assignment runs 13 weeks and requires licensure, AHA certifications, and a valid driver's license.

You will work in Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics, on a 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM schedule, and must reside more than 65 miles from the facility. Compliance with policy includes references from two supervisors, full disclosure of requested time off, and prior separation if a former Ochsner Health

Qualifications

• Allied health licensure required; may apply within 72 hours of acceptance if pending.
• License required if applicable.
• AHA certifications required.
• Valid driver's license required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit.
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Candidates must live more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates not accepted.
• Former Ochsner Health System employees or in-house agency contractors must have been separated for at least one full year before returning as a traveler.
• Two Manager/Supervisor references will be required to obtain clearance to start the contract.
• All requested time off must be disclosed on the candidate profile and discussed during the interview process.
