Job Summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cardio is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role requires 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts, with a start date of 05/25/2026.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTs.
• Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Perform diagnostic tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples.
• Administer respiratory treatments, including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy.
• Set up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient receives the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate.
• Observe and record patient status and progress.
• Educate patients and/or family members on proper medication use and equipment operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CRT practice.

Required Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the NBRC.
• Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS or PALS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position.
