Job summary

Focus Staff is actively seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist for a 14-week assignment in Fort Worth, Texas. The role requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts, starting 11/16/2026.

The incumbent will collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop patient care plans, ensure safety, and deliver respiratory therapies

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Respiratory Therapist in a clinical setting.
• Strong communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Able to work in a fast-paced travel assignment and adapt to different units.
• Comfortable with shift work including nights and 12-hour blocks.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient and recommends a treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Performing timely and accurate documentation.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist to help us to provide quality patient care during this COVID 19 Crisis. As a member of the Respiratory Team, develop and ensure the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, and other therapists. Contract Assignment – 13 Weeks (Temporary)
Shift: 3x12 Nights

Requirements

• Proven experience as Repertory Therapist
• Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
• Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families
