Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Rehabilitation for a travel nursing job in Pasco, Washington. This 13-week assignment offers 36 hours per week on a night shift in a Rehabilitation Hospital.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of rehab RN experience, current BLS certification, and is eligible for state licensure. You will provide direct patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, monitor and document progress, and assist with discharge planning and patient education.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as an RN in a rehabilitation setting.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Must be eligible for state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to rehabilitation patients, including those with neurological or orthopedic needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, physical and occupational therapists to develop and implement care plans.
• Monitor vital signs, assess neurological status, and document progress in the EHR.
• Administer medications, manage pain, and educate patients and families on recovery goals.
• Participate in discharge planning and coordination with the rehab team.
