Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Rehab RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS certification and NIHSS certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessment of patients on the unit and document appropriately.
• Prepare patients for surgery and educate on procedures and post-operative care.
• Coordinate holistic patient care including mobility, rehab exercises, and ADLs.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapies and document progress.
• Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments with proper documentation.
