Overview

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Respiratory Care Practitioner for a position in Olney, IL. Start date 06/29/2026; duration 10 weeks; 36 hours per week with 12‑hour night shifts; employment type Travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in various clinical areas, evaluating and treating patients according to procedural guidelines.
• Administer a variety of respiratory and cardiology modalities.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment; evaluate equipment for proper and safe function; report malfunctions to director.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples per procedure guidelines.
• Collaborate with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• Must hold BLS and ACLS; NRP and PALS may be required.
• Must pass NBRC®.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 20 lbs, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Vision requirements: clear close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
