Qualifications

• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is required.
• California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred and 3+ years of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer oxygen and aerosol therapies.
• Manage ventilators and assist with advanced respiratory support.
• Perform arterial blood gas draws and pulmonary function testing.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient responses and treatment plans.
• Assist with bronchoscopies and specialized procedures.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on respiratory care.
• Ensure compliance with ventilator and VAP bundle protocols.
• Maintain and manage respiratory equipment.

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide both basic and critical respiratory care for adult and geriatric patients. You’ll work independently while also guiding and supporting team members when needed.
